Shareholders expect a 'dividend rain' of at least 8.9 billion euros until July

The shareholders of some of the largest listed companies are waiting for the "dividend rain" that will take place between April and July and in which they can receive at least 8,927 million euros, according to data compiled by Europa Press, where they highlight the remunerations that will be distributed by Santander, Inditex, Endesa, Telefónica or Repsol, among others.

Thus, among the Ibex 35 companies that will distribute dividends soon are Santander and Inditex, which on May 2 will distribute around 979 million and 1,869 million respectively.

Specifically, Santander will distribute to its shareholders a complementary dividend charged to 2022 profits of 0.0595 euros per share. It will be payable on May 2, so the last trading day of the share with the right to receive the dividend will be April 26, the share will trade ex-dividend on April 27, and the record date will be on April 28.

In the case of Inditex, it will distribute a first dividend of 0.60 euros gross per share, which brings the total amount to around 1,869 million euros. In addition, on November 2, it will distribute another dividend for the same value.

The next company to distribute dividends will be Aena, which once again distributes dividends to its shareholders thanks to the recovery of the economy and financial results that have left behind the previous losses generated by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The proposal that the airport manager has made to the shareholders' meeting --to be held on April 20-- involves giving an interim dividend of 4.75 euros gross per title on May 4, on account of the results of 2022, which brings the total amount to 712 million euros.

For its part, Telefónica will remunerate shareholders with a first payment of 0.15 euros gross on account of the 2022 financial year on June 15, representing a total amount of 866 million euros. The second tranche, also for 0.15 euros, will be distributed on December 14.

Likewise, Endesa's general shareholders' meeting, to be held on April 28, is expected to approve the distribution of a gross dividend of 1.5854 euros per share charged to the result of the 2022 financial year and the remainder of previous financial years. This dividend will be paid on July 3, 2023.

For the company, it will mean distributing a maximum of 1,678.5 million euros among its shareholders, of which Enel, which owns 70.1%, will receive a maximum of 1,176 million euros.

Fluidra plans to distribute a first dividend of 0.35 euros per share charged to reserves on July 5. The disbursement will be 67.2 million euros, although the company will make another payment of 0.35 euros on December 5, so the total amount charged to 2022 will be 134 million euros.

The next company on the Ibex 35 will, in principle, be Enagás, which will distribute a total of 270.3 million euros to its shareholders on July 6 at the rate of a complementary dividend of 1.032 euros gross per share.

Also on July 6, Repsol will distribute its dividend. The company plans to give 0.35 euros per title, with a total amount of 464.5 million euros.

CIE Automotive's board of directors will submit for the approval of the general shareholders' meeting the distribution of a dividend of 0.419 euros per share that, if successful, would be paid on July 7. The total amount would be 50.1 million euros.

Indra plans to distribute on July 12 a total remuneration of 44.1 million euros at the rate of a gross dividend of 0.25 euros per share. This means that the company has raised its shareholder remuneration by 67% in 2022 compared to 2021.

Lastly, Acerinox has announced this week that it will propose to its ordinary general shareholders' meeting, which will be held on second call on May 23, the payment of a complementary dividend of 0.30 euros gross per share on July 17. With this amount, the total rises to 77.9 million euros.

Beyond the Ibex 35 companies, other companies will 'water' their investors in the coming weeks, including Miquel y Costas (0.112 euros per share, on April 20), Airbus (1.8 euros, on April 27) , Faes Farma (scroll dividend of 0.118 euros, on April 28), Nicolás Correa (0.23 euros, on May 8), Catalana Occidente (0.49 euros, on May 10), Grupo Empresarial San José (0 .1 euros, on May 11), Alantra (0.5 euros, on May 12) and Ence (0.29 euros, on May 18).

They will be followed by Metrovacesa (0.33 euros, on May 19), Clínica Baviera (0.8 euros, on June 2), Atresmedia (0.22 euros, on June 22), Naturhouse (0.05 euros, on June 30), Ebro Foods (0.19 euros, on June 30), Gestamp (0.075 euros, on July 5), Applus (0.16 euros, on July 6) and Vidrala (0.337 euros, on July 14). of July).
