The Treasury proposes reducing the reduction on the net performance of modules from 10% to 5% by 2024

MADRID, 1 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ministry of Finance and Public Function proposes halving, from 10% to 5%, the reduction on the net performance of modules for 2024, in accordance with the draft Order, in the process of public information, by which it is developed For next year, the method of objective estimation of personal income tax and the simplified VAT regime for which many self-employed workers and SMEs pay taxes.

The department of María Jesús Montero points out that this 5% reduction on the net performance of modules will be applicable to all taxpayers who determine the net performance of their economic activity according to the objective estimation method.

Regarding VAT, the Treasury proposes freezing the modules, as well as the instructions for their application, applicable in the special simplified regime in the immediately preceding year by 2024.

Additionally, for agricultural and livestock activities, in order to compensate for the increase in the cost of certain inputs, it is established for the 2024 tax periods that the previous net yield may be reduced by 35% of the acquisition of agricultural diesel and the 15% of the purchase price of the fertilizers, in both cases, necessary for the development of said activities. These reductions, recalls the Ministry of María Jesús Montero, were already applied in both 2022 and 2023.

Likewise, due to the consequences of the volcanic eruptions that occurred on the island of La Palma, the Treasury maintains the special reduction for economic activities carried out on the island for 2024.

This special reduction, similar to that established for the municipality of Lorca due to the earthquake that occurred in said municipality, was already applied in both 2022 and 2023.
