The British airline Monarch has surprisingly discontinued its flight operations. The government wants to bring those affected back.

The British airline Monarch Airlines hatüberraschend ir entire flight operations. All flights were cancelled, company was part of it.

According to British Flight Authority CAA, approximately 110,000 passengers from Monarch are located abroad. The British Regierungbat authority to organise or flights for those affected. They sprichtdabei from greatest return action in peacetime. Transport Minister ChrisGrayling called it top priority to bring passengers home. Nobody should underestimate size of challenge.

British media reports Zufolgewurden also cancelled some 300,000 bookings. All passengers with a ticket were asked not to drive to airport. According to British government, airline had to register insolvency. Monarch is fifth largest British airline. In past Jahrrund, it carried 6.3 million passengers to 40 destinations.

The British Government, with return action, chose a different way than German one in a similar situation. When bankruptcy of German airline Air Berlin loomed, government granted it a government loan of 150 million euros. This should ensure operation of aircraft – and avoid fact that German holidaymakers are stuck abroad.
