LONDON, March 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Geotab is proud to have supported the inaugural Irish EV Awards last week, showcasing best practice in the EV transition in Ireland. Three of our partners received awards at the event for their contribution to the shift to zero-emission vehicles and helping to meet Ireland's climate action targets.
SIRO, the wholesale broadband operator, was recognized for Best EV Fleet Transition Project (less than 50 vehicles) on the night. In collaboration with Nevo, Geotab has provided SIRO with telematics technology to assist the company in its efforts to reduce fuel costs and emissions, evaluate environmental performance over time and identify opportunities for improvement. We are delighted to have contributed to SIRO obtaining this award.
Another Geotab partner was honored on the night, when NiftiBusiness won in the Electric Vehicle Rental Company of the Year category. NiftiBusiness has helped an increasing number of businesses transition to electric vehicles and has actively championed the benefits of reduced carbon emissions and cost-effectiveness of zero-emission vehicles.
