After the successful launch of its adaptive costumes for disabled children, Rubies announces another collection that represents a step forward in caring for the planet: Green Collection

Over the past several years, Rubies has been continually working to reduce environmental impact by refining both packaging and products. For this reason, Rubies is delighted to take a new step and bring this new collection of sustainable costumes to consumers. It features customer favorite characters with some of the largest licenses in the industry. Green Collection is designed to be as environmentally conscious as possible, with fabrics made from 100% recycled material. The costumes are made from waste plastic bottles. For each costume, approximately 52-56 50 cl plastic bottles are used. The collection will go on sale in December in a wide variety of sizes for children aged 3 to 10, with such popular characters as Spider-man, Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America from Marvel or Storm Trooper and Darth Vader from Star Wars TM. As Joan Chaler, Marketing Director of Rubies Iberia and Italy, says: "With the Green Collection we make it possible for each child to find the costume of their favorite character and at the same time meet the demands of those parents who prioritize sustainable purchases. The entire collection has been crafted to be more durable, reliable, reusable, and energy and resource efficient than never. They are also machine washable, which means you can reuse the costume as many times as you like and pass it on to the next generation, simultaneously eliminating the need for single-use purchases. In addition to all this, Rubies has eliminated all plastic from the packaging, proposing fully recyclable and FSC-certified hangers or cardboard boxes.
