Folc restaurant and Park Social cocktail bar are leaving their home in Olmos Park and moving to a new, yet-to-be-determined location.

The bar and restaurant both announced the move on their respective Facebook pages.

"It's imperative that we let all know that we tried to continue to operate in Olmos Park, but in the end, our efforts were not reciprocated," the statement said.

Folc has been closed since early November, when a fire damaged the interior. Park Social remained open in the meantime, but will instead close at its current location.

Meanwhile, the Folc and Park Social team are opening Bexar Pub, a burger and fried chicken restaurant in the former home of Toro Taco Bar at 114 Brooklyn Ave. That new restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout and delivery and will feature the burger that Texas Monthly magazine called the best in the state.

We'll update this story once we learn more about the move of Folc and Park Social.
