Texas native and pop star Selena Gomez took to Instagram Monday to express how much she appreciated her mom, who gave birth to her when she was a teenager.

"I sit back and think about how much she has done and show me...it truly has blown me Betvole away," she wrote to her 108 million followers. "She teaches me most about life and I couldn't be luckier to have a partner like her in life."

More than 36,000 have commented on the photo, where Gomez is seen laughing next to her mom, who is wearing a pink jacket.

This isn't the first time the singer has posted about her family on social media.
