The pandemic of novel coronavirus has claimed more than 200,000 lives in Latin America and the Caribbean, nearly three-quarters in Brazil and Mexico, according to an assessment conducted by the AFP from official sources Sunday, 10: 30am.

With a total of 200.212 dead (for 4.919.054 cases), Latin America and the Caribbean is the second region most severely affected by the pandemic Covid-19, behind Europe (210.435 death, 3.189.322 case).
