Japan reported Friday a new record of contamination for the fourth consecutive day, with 1.574 persons tested positive for the coronavirus. Despite this peak of the epidemic, the government continues to encourage its population to travel.

The authorities have launched last week a campaign to promote travel, excluding, however, Tokyo destinations of pleasure due to an increase in infections in the capital.
