A fifty families of detainees have filed a complaint against the belgian State for violation of human rights of prisoners, reports Het Belang van Limburg on Thursday. Since the beginning of the pandemic Covid-19, they are no longer allowed to physically touch their loved ones in prison.

The prison visits were limited in a strict way since the beginning of the crisis of the coronavirus, after having been banned in the first time. "The visits to other places, such as rest homes, however, are now permitted ", said the wife of a prisoner and spokesman for the families, Iris Greeven.
