The infectiologist French Didier Raoult criticized on Monday a study published in the journal The Lancet, putting in doubt the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine for the care of the sick of the Covid-19, deeming it "half-assed" as performed "by people who have not seen patients".
"How do you want a study half-assed made with the 'big data' (mass data) to change what we have?", lance Didier Raoult, of the university hospital Institute (IHU) Méditerranée Infection in Marseille (south of France), in a video posted on the website of the institution.
