Trespassing, Lear Road: On Feb. 5, officers responded to The Quarry to assist with the removal of an Avon man who had been banned from the bar. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

Drunken driving, Lear Road: On Feb. 6, officers witnessed a driver peeling the car's tires in the Eastview Elementary School parking lot. The care matched the description of an earlier call of a reckless driver speeding up and down Lear Road. Police attempted to stop the driver, who turned into a driveway and fled into the residence. He was arrested on charges of drunken driving, fleeing, disregard for safety, open container, and peeling tires.

Theft, Bounty Way: On Feb. 7, a woman reported she had paid a $500 deposit to a painter who never returned to do the work.

Liquor offense, Country Club Drive: On Jan. 27, police stopped a Cleveland man for two traffic violations. While speaking with the 20-year-old suspect, police found a partially full bottle of liquor on the rear floorboard. As a result the driver was cited for underage possession and speeding.

Breaking and entering, Moore Road: On Jan. 28, a resident reported forced entry to his home and a miter saw stolen.

Theft, Lake Road: A business reported a theft captured on video. The suspect was contacted and explained that it was an oversight and he would reimburse the store for the cost.
