CLEVELAND, Ohio - Planning a wedding? See what's blooming in our own back yard this Saturday at Local Union, a wedding-planning party and marketing event hosted by The Cleveland Flea at The Nash.
The best things trending in decor, invitations, food, flowers and attire are being designed right here in Cleveland.
In Flea style, the event will feature so much more than shopping, though you'll find everything from bridal bath bombs to personalized chocolates and cocktail napkins, upcycled bottle blossoms and so much more. With live music and DJ sets, the Happy Camper Bar Car serving special cocktails, samples from Platform Beer Co. and even bowling in The Nash's retro lounge and alleys, the event promises to be fun for everyone on your wedding team.
The event will feature more than 40 local vendors in several categories including accessories, jewelry and apparel, cakes and desserts, event planners, catering, flowers, decor and party favors, hair, makeup, nails and fitness, photography, stationary, venues, transportation and lodging. You'll find plenty of handmade and vintage items to match your Cleveland theme.
There is a full schedule of events running throughout the day including a Bright Blooms Bouquet floral workshop and a session on building your own DIY wedding bar. There will be a cake bar and a photo booth.

When: Saturday, Feb. 25
Where: The Slovenian National Home, also called The Nash, at 3563 E. 80th St., in Cleveland's historic Slavic Village neighborhood.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets: Tickets vary in price from $10 for general admission purchased in advance and $12 at the door, to a party pack of five tickets for $40. Ticket includes shopping, bowling, beer samples between noon and 2 p.m., attendance to all DIY wedding panels in the downstairs lounge, all-day dance party and complimentary photo booth.
The Bright Blooms Bouquet workshop tickets are sold separately but include free admission to the Local Union event. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased through the Lush & Lovely Floristry Eventbrite site.
Parking: There are two lots directly north and south of The Nash and the Presrite Corporation is allowing use of their large lots down the street at 3665 E. 78th St. with shuttle service running about every 15 minutes provided by The West Side Shuffle. Non-Profit Partner: Graffiti HeArt focuses on promoting urban graffiti and street art by showcasing urban artists and through commissioned projects. They promote educational programs for youth and aspiring artists. They will be accepting donations at their own booth.
