Former Terp Diamond Stone to appear on 'Bill Nye Saves The World'

Bill Nye the Science Guy has a new Netflix show coming this April, and he couldn't have picked a better guest star whose name could double as an episode subject: Diamond Stone.

Stone, the Associated Press Big Ten Conference Newcomer of the Year on last season's Sweet 16 Terps team, was taken No. 40 overall in the NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He has appeared in just five games this season, scoring 10 points and grabbing four rebounds over 20 minutes, and last week was sent back to the Salt Lake City Stars for his third NBA Development League assignment.

Maybe Nye will discuss with the concept of a pendulum, which swings back and forth until it finds equilibrium.

More likely, though, Nye will talk about diamonds, or stones, or how diamonds are gemstones. Because, you know, that's his name.
