CLEVELAND, Ohio - The cold is back! Cleveland will see on-and-off snow showers throughout the day, but it will accumulate less than an inch.

The worst part may be the massive drop in temperatures compared to Tuesday, as highs will only top off in the mid 30s, with wind chills in the teens later tonight.

The How:

A blast of cold air from a passing low-pressure system coupled with lake effect will produce snow showers along the snow belt and a bit further south through Thursday afternoon. Cleveland and Akron are only expected to get around 1 inch maximum, while in the extreme northeast corner of the state near Ashtabula, over 2 inches is possible.
