Man sues neighbor for making his life a living hell

A West Village man says his downstairs neighbor is making his daily life a living hell — screaming obscenities and banging on the ceiling with a broomstick “at all hours of the day and night.”

Kyle Cameron, who lives in Apt. 6C at 165 Christopher St., says in a Manhattan lawsuit that the building’s board has ignored his complaints against Keith Dunn of 5C.

“For nearly two years Mr. Cameron has been unable to feel safe within, and/or quietly use and enjoy his own home,” the suit claims.

In one instance, Dunn “screamed at the top of his lungs, ‘You don’t think I know your story? I know your story you f–king c–ksucker,’” the suit says.

Worse, Dunn has made noise complaints against Cameron to the police while the plaintiff is out of state and his apartment is empty, the suit says.

But Dunn says the racket is coming from Cameron’s unit, where he hears doors being slammed in the middle of the night. Dunn’s attorney, Brian M. DeLaurentis, said his client never used a broomstick or yelled profanities.

Cameron wants the co-op to evict Dunn and pay him $750,000 in damages.

Board reps did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
