Melania has picked her chief of staff

First Lady Melania Trump has selected a chief of staff, the White House announced late Wednesday.

Lindsay Reynolds, a veteran of the George W. Bush White House, will be in charge of running the East Wing of the White House.

“I look forward to the opportunity to serve as the First Lady’s Chief of Staff,” Reynolds said in a statement provided by the White House.

“The First Lady is thoughtfully selecting her team, establishing the Office of the First Lady and supporting her husband President Trump,” she said, adding that she’ll work to get the White House Visitors Office open again so tours can be provided to the public.

Reynolds has been a political fundraiser and event manager, according to the White House.

“I am putting together a professional and highly-experienced team which will take time to do properly,” Melania Trump said in her own statement.

“I am excited to be organizing and bringing together such a dynamic and forward thinking group of individuals who will work together to make our country better for everyone,” she added.
