An ancient stone carving that bears an uncanny resemblance to President Trump has turned an old English cathedral into a big league new tourist attraction.

Tourists have been flocking to the Southwell Minster church in Nottinghamshire ever since the 700-year-old sculpture was spotted last year by British journalist Samira Ahmed who instantly recognized the similarity, the Nottingham Post reported.

“Proof of #endofdays? Donald Trump was carved as a gargoyle in Southwell Minster 700 years ago…” read Ahmed’s August tweet, which has since been retweeted 558 times.

She continued: “I think it’s weird, but very appropriate, that I found it. I think it’s fascinating, because it looks so modern.”

“But when I found it, Carmina Burana went off in my head, because I watched The Omen as a child,” she said.

The 14th century sculpture is one of 280 carvings at the cathedral.

“We knew the head well, but none of us had spotted the Donald Trump hairstyle before. It’s really the hairstyle that is similar,” Reverend Canon Nigel Coates told the paper.

The Trump look-a-like head is “among the lower level of heads, not the kings and queens and merchants,” Coates noted.

“So Donald Trump might be flattered that he features in 14th century Mansfield stone – but not that he’s not among the kings and queens,” the holy man added.
