CLEVELAND, Ohio - Two Cleveland classics have been named to the list of 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2017, compiled by the Open Table website. Pier W lakeside restaurant in Cleveland, known for its wonderful seafood dishes, chic atmosphere and stunning views, and the stately Don's Pomeroy House in Strongsville, with its classic cuisine and cozily elegant atmosphere, made the list.

The 100 restaurants chosen for the honor in advance of Valentine's Day were based on more than 10 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 24,000 restaurants. The honorees come from 36 states.

Other Ohio restaurants on the list include The Bistro at Gervasi Vineyard - Canton, Ohio; Chez Francois - Vermilion, Ohio; Coldwater Cafe & Catering - Tipp City, Ohio; Orchids at Palm Court - Cincinnati, Ohio; Primavista - Cincinnati, Ohio; and The Refectory Restaurant & Bistro - Columbus, Ohio.
