Driving under suspension, Richmond Road: At 10:40 a.m. Feb. 1, police stopped a car that was being driven without its license plates properly displayed. It was subsequently found that the driver, a Cleveland man, 27, had on his driving record two license suspensions. The man was arrested for DUS.

Fraud, Richmond Road: At 11 a.m. Feb. 2, a Beachwood woman, 58, went to the police station to report that someone has been conducting fraudulent activity involving her checking account.

The woman told police that the activity has been ongoing since late April, 2013. The total loss of funds was $7,135.

Receiving stolen property, Cedar Road: At 3:50 p.m. Feb. 3, police arrested an employee of Finish Line at Beachwood Place mall, 26300 Cedar Road, for stealing a small purse belonging to a store customer.

The employee, a Euclid woman, 26, was found in possession of the purse. The value of the theft was listed at $100.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 2:40 p.m. Feb. 4, a former employee of Dillard's at Beachwood Place was seen stealing clothing at Dillard's worth $27.50. The woman, 28, of Cleveland, was not apprehended, but a warrant was issued for her arrest.

OVI, Green Road: At 2:35 a.m. Feb. 5, an officer stopped a car at Green Road and Shaker Boulevard and found that the driver, a Cleveland Heights man, 37, was intoxicated. The man was charged with OVI and his car towed.

Warrant arrest, I-271: At 11:40 a.m. Feb. 6, police assisted a woman whose auto became disabled as she drove on Interstate 271 southbound.

It was found that the woman, 21, of Garfield Heights, was wanted on a warrant issued by police in Lakewood. The woman was arrested on the warrant.

Warrant arrest, I-271: At 5:30 p.m. Feb. 6, an officer stopped to help the driver of a disabled auto on Interstate 271 southbound at the Chagrin Road exit ramp.

It was discovered that the driver, a Cleveland man, 34, was wanted on a warrant issued by police in Bedford. The man was arrested on the warrant.

License forfeiture, Shaker Boulevard: At 9:30 a.m. Feb. 7, a Cleveland Heights woman, 56, was involved in a crash with another auto. As police investigated, it was found that the woman was driving with a forfeited license.
