SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio - Surveillance video released Wednesday shows a masked man pointing a gun at a gas station employee during a robbery in Shaker Heights.

No arrests have been made in the Friday robbery at the BP on Larchmere Boulevard at Kemper Road, police said.

Detectives on Wednesday released surveillance video that shows the masked man enter the store just after 9:30 a.m. The man pointed a gun at the employee and demanded cash from the register, police said.

An edited version of the video has been included in this post.

The man reached over the counter and took the money, which he stuffed into his pockets. He ran out of the store moments before the employee picked up a phone to call police, the video shows.

Officers searched the area but could not find the man.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.
