Greening Group expects to reach a turnover of 430 million and an Ebitda of 70 million in 2026

MADRID, 10 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Greening Group expects to reach 430 million euros in revenue and a gross operating result (Ebitda) of 70 million euros in 2026, according to the new 2024-2026 strategic plan announced by the company listed on the BME Growth.

The firm dedicated to the generation, construction of projects and commercialization of renewable energy thus presents a 'roadmap' that evolves its strategic objectives upwards, after exceeding the forecasts and figures of its previous 2023-2025 plan at the end of 2023.

Specifically, this goal of 70 million euros of Ebitda by 2026 represents 17% of revenues, compared to the 10% achieved at the end of 2023.

Greening Group, with a presence in six countries -Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Mexico and the United States-, closed the 2023 financial year with a turnover of 100.6 million euros and an Ebitda of 10.2 million euros.

In addition, last year it exceeded the forecast of reaching 90 megawatts (MW) of its portfolio of generation projects to obtain a much higher figure of 174 MW.

The group's CEO, Ignacio Salcedo, considered that having a larger portfolio of projects ahead of schedule allows the company to "increase its generation capacity, on the one hand, and on the other hand, have more assets for rotation, activities that allow us to generate high value".

Likewise, he highlighted that international business represents more than 80%, "in markets where there are great growth expectations in the coming years."

With this new plan, the Granada company indicated that it plans to consolidate its position in renewable generation beyond solar energy, focusing on multi-technology (wind, biomethane) and a strong commitment to storage "that provide greater profitability and return on investment ".

Likewise, the group's asset rotation strategy sets a target of up to 450 MW between 2024 and 2026 in parks in operation or in the final phase of construction. With this project, called Escipión, it aims to reach more than 100 million euros of capital for the growth of the company and promote the creation of value for shareholders.

Furthermore, due to the better evolution of the generation portfolio compared to the initial forecast and the new multitechnology strategy, the company expects to reach 800 MW of its own generation in 2026, compared to the 500 MW of the initial objective of 2025. According to the new business plan, the Greening Group marketer hopes to reach up to 700 gigawatt hours (GWh) per year of energy in 2026.
