On the West Side, a 24-year-old man was shot in the back in the 3500 block of West North Avenue in the Humboldt Park area just before 7:10 p.m. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

About 3:45 p.m. a 22-year-old man was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood, according to Chicago police. They said the man heard shots and felt pain in one of his arms, where he'd been shot.

The man was in the area of West 74th Street and South Damen Avenue when he was shot, police said. The man got himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, officials said.
