This Tuesday, at 11am (local time), a funeral ceremony "family" is planned in Houston. The baptist pastor will deliver the eulogy. The police of Houston, will escort the body of George Floyd up at the Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, where his mother is buried. All persons who so wish are invited to follow the passage of the funeral procession.

Monday, the policeman accused of the murder of George Floyd, Derek Chauvin, appeared for 11 minutes in front of the judge Jeannice Reding. His bail has been increased to one million dollars. The accused risk up to 40 years in prison for murder not premeditated. His next hearing is scheduled for 29 June next.

Tuesday, 2 June, Donald Trump has called on the governors to stand firm to "control their streets," and that he was prepared to deploy the army to "quickly solve the problem for them".
