Falcons vs. Patriots: Which Teams Celebrities Are Rooting To Win At Super Bowl LI

The biggest game of the NFL season is finally here. On Sunday, the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will descend upon Houston, Texas’ NRG Stadium for Super Bowl LI. It’s anyone’s guess which team will emerge victorious. Fans of each team have been vocal in their support, sending good vibes to the players ahead of the big game. Here’s who your favorite celebrities have pegged to take home the 2017 Super Bowl trophy.

Longtime New England sports fans Chris Evans, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg will likely be rooting for their home team on Sunday. The actors have been quiet in their support on social media, however. John Krasinski celebrated the Patriots and other Boston sports teams several times on Instagram, though he has not mentioned their advancement to Super Bowl LI. Comedian Dane Cook has also been vocal in his support of the New England football team on Instagram, sharing his countdown to the Super Bowl with his followers.

The Falcons also have a seriously star-powered support system behind them. Dedicated fan Samuel L. Jackson celebrated their playoffs win on Twitter. Shad Moss — formerly known as Bow Wow — is also a longtime fan. He, too, celebrated their big win on social media, sending them a congratulatory message. Meanwhile, Big Boi, Ludacris and Michael B. Jordan expressed their dedication to the fandom on Instagram.

Sunday’s Super Bowl marks the second time the Atlanta Falcons have advanced to the big game. Their last Super Bowl appearance was in 1999 against the Denver Broncos. They were defeated 34 to 19. The Patriots are no strangers to the pressure of the Super Bowl. To date, they have played in nine Super Bowls. They are the favorite to win, though the Falcons are likely not going down without a fight.

Tune in to Super Bowl LI — during which Lady Gaga will be performing at the halftime show — Sunday at 7:30 p.m. EST on Fox.
