A 28-year-old Jersey City man was injured in a daytime shooting in the Greenville section the city, authorities said. 

The Garfield Avenue man sustained graze wounds to his leg and right hand in the area of Greenville and Woodland avenues just before 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.

The victim, who was uncooperative with police, was transported to Jersey City Medical Center with the non life-threatening injuries, Morrill said. 

The investigation is ongoing.
