The Oregon Department of Transportation was alerted to a new landslide early Thursday morning on OR 224 (Clackamas Highway) east of Carver near Tong Road. The westbound lanes are blocked there. Expect slowing and possible brief closures or detours as crews work to clean that area.

Update 6:50 a.m.; Landslide has been cleared.

Thursday's commuters will be greeted by plenty of showers (heavy showers forecast for the afternoon). It's a good day to take it slow, leave plenty of stopping distance and use the rain gear if you need to be outside.

BEAVERTON 8:11 a.m.; Southwest 149th Avenue at Division street is closed due to high water.  Crews are on scene. Use alternate routes and expect delays.

GLENN JACKSON BRIDGE 7:30 a.m.; Crash blocks the left lane of I-205 northbound about mid-span on the bridge. Crews say there's a lot of standing water there. Use caution.

Update 7:50 a.m.; Another crash, this time in the right lanes just north of the above crash, I-205 northbound. Lots of standing water on the bridge.

Update 8:12 a.m.; The more southern I-205 northbound crash (blocking left lane) has been cleared.

TRIMET MAX DELAYS 7:13 a.m.; TriMet reports MAX Blue and Red lines delayed up to 15 minutes through 8 a.m. due to mechanical issue near Pioneer Square.

WILSONVILLE 7:10 a.m.; Crash reported on the Elligson Road off ramp to I-5 southbound. Use caution.

WEST BEAVERTON 8:41 a.m.; Lane restrictions 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily through Friday, Feb. 17 on Roy Rogers Road near Scholls Ferry for geotechnical drilling. 

Upcoming: Crews will conduct geotechnical evaluations of the levee that runs along the Columbia River and Northeast Marine Drive in Multnomah County. The work includes drilling for soil samples to see how the protective barriers will perform during flood events.

The drilling work begins February 21 and will go on for about three weeks. Lanes closures on Marine Drive are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays.
