Donald Trump has a right to whine when the media call him a liar — not because it’s false but because it’s incomplete. This week the FBI head chimed in. Former national intelligence chief James Clapper already effectively said Trump lied about being wiretapped.

But four years ago Clapper was asked if the U.S. spies on its citizens.

Then Edward Snowden revealed it does and Clapper had to backtrack.

Why even bother asking these guys? They’re spies — and then they lie about it. Betrayal is in their DNA — as anyone who’s seen a spy movie knows

One CIA boss was so devious, people say when he looked in the mirror every day he wondered if he was the mole.

So Trump has a beef. What the media should’ve said is: The liar James Clapper says Donald Trump is a liar too. That would’ve been not just the truth but the whole truth.
