North Huntingdon police identified the victim of a fatal crash Monday as Loren Steele, 21, of Westmoreland City.

Police said Steele was driving a Honda Civic at 7:40 a.m. on Route 993 when he crossed the center line near Southside Drive and crashed head-on into a Ford F-350 pickup being driven by Robert Robosky, 24, of North Huntingdon.

Steele died at AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Robosky was taken to the same hospital, where he was treated for serious facial injuries, police Lt. Rod Mahinske said.
