That's what Woodland Park Zoo critters were treated to last weekend in a Valentine's Day celebration open to the public.

Depending on their dietary preferences, animals such as orangutans, grizzly bears, river otters and penguins enjoyed either heart-shaped fish pops, herbal bouquets or heart-shaped steaks.

The main event took place Saturday, while some beasts performed for media on Friday.
