One person died and no one else was injured, he added. No first responders were hurt, he said.

The Northampton County Coroner's Office came to the scene and is part of the investigation, Morey said.

Borough police and fire personnel as of 5:30 a.m. remained at the scene, a county emergency dispatch supervisor said.

Just before 6 a.m., Morey said they expected to leave soon.

Further information on the victim will likely come from the coroner, Morey said.
