A four vehicle crash Monday morning closed a portion of Route 309 in Lehigh County.

A four-vehicle crash the morning of Feb. 13, 2017, closed a portion of Route 309 in South Whitehall Township for about 45 minutes. Two people were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, according to emergency radio reports. (Mike Nester | lehighvalleylive.com contributor) 

Route 309 was closed for about 45 minutes between Walbert Avenue and Ridgeview Drive in South Whitehall Township.

Emergency radio reports indicated two people were taken to a local hospital for injuries.

South Whitehall police said details were not immediately available, but more information may be released later Monday.
