Polling draft prospects: Which NFL head coach do you prefer?

College Football 24/7 polled 25 prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft last month at the Reese's Senior Bowl on various football-related questions that, collectively, provide some insight into how the NFL's incoming talent views the game's teams, coaches and players. This week, we'll publish the poll results. Today's question:

Which NFL coach would you most like to play for?

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick nipped the Seattle Seahawks' Pete Carroll by two votes in a question that elicited a wide array of answers, including a few who aren't active as head coaches today. Of course, votes were cast more than a week before the New England Patriots stormed back from a 28-3 deficit to win Super Bowl LI, 34-28, over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime. As such, Belichick might take this poll by a wider margin if it were taken today.

Two who chose Belichick offered very different reasons.

"He has the best organization in football, period," said San Diego State RB Donnel Pumphrey.

Said Air Force WR Jalen Robinette: "Because I know he has a high appreciation for the military."

Whatever the reason, it's no surprise that the coach with the most rings garnered the most votes.
