ACS has created a new company called ACS Infra in which it will group the concession assets it operates through Abertis and Iridium, as well as with its Australian subsidiary Pacific Partnerships, and which will be led by the current CEO of Iridium, Nuria Haltiwanger.

Specifically, the 'greenfield' branch (projects that include the construction of infrastructure) will be developed by both Iridium and Pacific Partnerships, while the 'brownfield' segment (only includes the operation of an asset) will continue to fall to Abertis, mainly as operator. of highways.

The CEO of ACS, Juan Santamaría, explained in a conference with analysts last Friday that this new organizational chart seeks to simplify the company's corporate structure through the integration of its operations.

Its joint project portfolio already has 91 assets, with a total invested capital of 1,200 million euros directly (not counting the 28% it controls in the Texas highway SH-288 through Abertis).

There are 60 of these assets in Europe, 17 in North America and another 12 in Asia Pacific. Due to their typology, 42 assets correspond to buildings, 29 to roads, 18 to the railway sector and 2 to renewable energies.

Apart from ACS Infra, the new organizational chart of the multinational chaired by Florentino Pérez is divided into two other large branches: ACS Engineering and Construction, focused on civil works and general building projects, and ACS Soluciones Integrales, dedicated to engineering solutions in the sectors of Building, Digitalization, Technology, Energy, Industry and Natural Resources.

Under the perimeter of Engineering and Construction are mainly its companies Dragados, Hochtief and Flatiron, while Turner, Thiess, Sedgman, UGL, Laio and CPB Contractors operate under the Integral Solutions perimeter.
