CaixaBank and BBVA led the falls in the Ibex 35 around 10:00 a.m. with a decrease of around 5% and 3.3% respectively, after presenting their results for the third quarter.

The bank chaired by José Ignacio Goirigolzarri has registered a net attributable profit of 2,457 million euros until September, 17.7% more than the same period of the previous year based on homogeneous perimeters.

The accounting result increased by 21.5% without including the extraordinary effects of the merger; If the impacts of the integration are taken into account, it falls by 48.8% since the profit until September 2021 was 4,801 million due to the positive contribution for accounting purposes of 4,300 million from the 'badwill' and other associated extraordinary results.

In the case of BBVA, it has obtained an attributed result of 4,842 million euros between January and September of this year, which represents an increase of 47% compared to the same period of the previous year (46.2% at current exchange rates). ).

The rest of the Ibex 35 bank was also in 'red'. Bankinter and Banco Sabadell fell around 2%, while Santander lost around 0.5%. In the Continuous Market, Unicaja Banco yielded 4.46% at 10:11 am, down to 0.87 euros.

The Ibex 35 fell 0.7%, with Mapfre leading the rises, a company that has also presented its results today. Until September, it has registered a net profit of 488 million euros during the first nine months of this year, which represents a decrease of 6.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
