Calls to support the strike planned for this Friday

CCOO has demanded from the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, the unblocking and "end of the hijacking" of collective bargaining in Adif, as reported by the union this Wednesday in a press release.

Specifically, the general company committee of Adif gathered this Tuesday at the doors of the Ministry of Transport to demand the application of the 35-hour day to the workforce and delivered a letter to Puente "demanding the unlocking and end of the kidnapping of collective bargaining in the company".

The union has detailed that "this has been a moment in which the FSC-CCOO Railway sector has demanded compliance with what was agreed in public companies."

For her part, the general secretary of the sector, Pepa Páez, recalled that they have called a 24-hour strike next Friday, February 9, for this issue and for the elimination of entry categories in the Renfe group." .

In this sense, Páez explained that the day of strike is caused by two different aspects.

Thus, he has detailed that regarding Adif's working hours, "there is a negative report from the Ministry of Transport saying that it is not viable, and in the case of the elimination of the Renfe income categories, there is no negative report, "What happens is that Public Service approval is still needed, and it seems that this situation is a little more positive, although it is not yet confirmed."

CCOO has made a call to support this next day of strike scheduled for February 9 and the concentration scheduled for 12:00 p.m. in Atocha.
