The Gasol brothers, Marc and Pau, have joined the sea and ocean plastic cleaning startup Gravity Wave as investors, leading a round of 500,000 euros, as reported by the firm this Wednesday.

Gravity Wave, considered a social and environmental impact company, has explained that "it has been immersed in the mission of cleaning the oceans for almost four years and now receives a triple from the line of stellar investors."

Marc and Pau Gasol have joined as investment partners and advisors to drive the 'Plastic Free Oceans' mission towards new horizons.

The company has highlighted that the "strategic" entry of the Gasols comes at a "crucial moment" for Gravity Wave and its founders, siblings Julen and Amaia Rodríguez, "who have reached significant milestones in their mission to achieve a plastic-free ocean ".

Pau Gasol detailed that "it is always a pleasure to support initiatives that have a positive impact on society and the environment."
