Los Angeles police are seeking more information about a possible kidnapping that occurred Sunday in Chatsworth.

Reported as a kidnapping call around 3:45 p.m. Sunday at De Soto Avenue and Devonshire Street, authorities said that when officers arrived, they learned a Hispanic woman was seen in the back of a gold Honda Accord and appeared to be in distress.

The woman was screaming and banging on the rear passenger-side window as the car continued northbound on De Soto Avenue out of the sight of witnesses, according to Los Angeles Police Department officials.

Authorities said the woman is described as Hispanic, in her late 20s or early 30s, with dark hair tied in a ponytail and wearing a black sweatshirt.

Police added the suspects appeared to be three male Hispanics, and the car was described as a gold, early 2000s Honda Accord with the rear passenger window smashed out.

As of Tuesday morning, there were no updates on the suspects or the woman, said LAPD Officer Irma Mota.
