EiDF Solar has appointed María José Herbón as corporate director (CCO), who will be in charge of the organization and control of the company, which encompasses both corporate administration and finance, human resources and the legal area, with direct dependence on the CEO of the firm, Joan Gelonch.

The company has detailed in a press release that Herbón has a "great professional career" and "extensive training" and experience in the field of economic and financial management of the company, in investment projects, as well as in the area of human resources and corporate governance, her last position being corporate director and financial director (CFO) of the Real Club Celta de Vigo.

It has also carried out in an "exceptional manner", as EiDF has mentioned, the optimization of financial structures, the implementation of control processes and the consolidation of growing groups of companies.

EiDF has wished Herbón "the best beginnings and a great future in the company", while detailing that "the company's management is confident that his incorporation will further accelerate the group's growth trajectory."

The firm has also predicted that its entry "will reinforce the foundations on which EiDF projects its leadership in the Spanish industrial and commercial self-consumption market and its growing role in the generation and commercialization of clean energy."
