Indra has acquired 100% of the Spanish firm specialized in the training of aeronautical pilots Global Training Aviation (GTA) after acquiring the 65% that it did not yet control of the company, although the amount of the operation has not been disclosed.

The technology and defense company had already acquired 35% of GTA in 2018, although the relationship between the two began in July 2017, and Indra has now taken control of 100% of the firm to accelerate its growth, according to The newspaper 'Expansión' reported and sources close to the process have confirmed to Europa Press.

Founded in 2002, GTA has aeronautical training centers in Spain (Madrid), Indonesia (Jakarta) and Colombia (Bogotá) equipped with six "state-of-the-art" flight simulators.

"We offer airlines, pilots and cabin crew professional and individual training programs with the necessary flexibility and reliability. More than 1,200 students a year, from all over the world, have been trained following the strict safety standards of the ICAO (Organization of International Civil Aviation)", says GTA on its website.
