Police are seeking the identity of a man who is wanted for a shooting Monday at a liquor store in Wicker Park.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. Jan. 30, a man walked into the store located in the 2000 block of West Division Street and started arguing with an employee, police said earlier.

The argument escalated to a fight which spilled out unto the street. The man then pulled out a handgun and shot the store clerk in the leg, police said.

The clerk, 26, was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Officials released images Friday of a man believed to be involved in the  aggravated assault. .
