Vice Adm. Robert Harward, a former deputy commander of the U.S. Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, became the front-runner late Monday to replace Michael Flynn as the White House national security adviser, the Washington Post reported. It follows lengthy discussions among top advisers to President Donald Trump and several Cabinet members after Flynn resigned. Harward's rapid ascension to the top of Trump's three-person shortlist for the position was confirmed by two White House officials who were not authorized to speak publicly.

The condominium tower under construction at the former site of the Colonnade restaurant on Bayshore Boulevard has a name: Virage Bayshore. The Virage Bayshore will be a 24-story, 71-unit tower with views of Hillsborough Bay and the downtown Tampa skyline. The site at 3401 Bayshore Blvd. is considered the last unclaimed parcel on Bayshore Boulevard zoned to be a high-rise tower, according to a press release. The cost per unit? A cool $1 million to $5 million.
