Penns Grove Chief of Police John T. Stranahan Sr. said Robert "Bobby" Oliver was taken into custody around 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

The chief credited a tip from the public with leading to the arrest of Oliver, 23, of Carneys Point.

According to police, Oliver is a suspect in multiple burglaries at commercial establishments in Penns Grove over the past few days.
