The Ibex 35 has started the session this Wednesday with a rise of 0.54%, which has led the selective to be below the level of 9,000 points, in a day in which investors will continue to monitor the situation European banking, which seems to have eased the turmoil experienced in recent weeks.

Before the opening of the market, the appointment of Sergio P. Ermotti as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Council as of April 5, 2023 of UBS, who was already the bank's top executive between 2011 and 2020, has been announced.

Additionally, investors will also remain attentive to the non-monetary policy meeting of the European Central Bank (ECB).

After closing yesterday at 8,944.3 points, the Madrid selective started the session at 8,992.47.5 points, with the main European stock markets also in green.

In the early stages of the session on Tuesday, the biggest increases were recorded by ArcelorMittal (2.21%), Bankinter and Santander (1.62% each), Sacyr (1.13%) and BBVA (0.88 %).

Among the decreases in the selective, those of Sabadell (-0.45%), Endesa (-0.23%), Naturgy (-0.11%) and Fluidra (-0.07%) stood out.

The rest of the European stock markets opened with increases of 0.73% for Paris, 0.6% for Frankfurt, 0.51% for Milan and 0.23% for London.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.32%, to $78.39, while Texas stood at $73.68, a 0.66% more.

In the foreign exchange market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0824 'green bills', while the risk premium was around 102.2 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at the 3.344%.
