Unicaja Banco has signed a long-term contract with Kyndryl for the renewal and comprehensive management of its technological platform, an agreement that also aims to improve efficiency and accelerate services for the financial institution's clients, as reported by the two companies. in a joint statement.

"Kyndryl will accompany Unicaja Banco in its technological evolution, creating new processes, procedures and tools that allow increasing the automation and industrialization of technological services. The contract also contemplates an operational transformation and the future renewal of the main infrastructures of the data processing center of the entity", they have detailed.

The agreement will also allow the bank to adopt a hybrid cloud strategy in which Kyndryl will create a private cloud and manage coexistence with the main public cloud providers.

The financial institution believes that this new architecture will give it "greater agility" to respond to new market challenges and will allow it to offer its clients the "latest advances" in digital banking.
