NORTHEAST MINISTRY, Bethlehem, needs volunteers to assist with the facilitation of its older youth program. This program meets one evening per month, generally on a Thursday, from 5:30-7 p.m. (Feb. 16 and March 16). The program offers a positive, supervised venue for youth in grades 9-12 to socialize, learn new skills (resume writing, how to apply for college, and much more). SHARECARE FAITH IN ACTION, Bethlehem, is looking for volunteer drivers (18+ years) to help safely transport people who are elderly and/or disabled to and from doctor appointments and with grocery shopping in the Lehigh Valley. Volunteers are also needed to help others who can't get out on their own through visitation, socializing, and taking them out of their home environment.
