Jaén, March 19, 2024.- Technological advances have generated several ruptures in the world of work, structurally changing the ways in which work, personal growth and professional preparation are conceived.
For this reason, the MasterD new technologies training center has proposed to reflect on the impact of technologies in the workplace. Throughout several papers that will be presented at the next edition of its congress, an attempt will be made to answer this question. The III Technological Congress of Computing and Communications of MasterD has the participation of experts, associations and companies in the area of computing and telecommunications, who will present their positions and research results on this problem.
The event will take place on March 21, online, and will feature the participation of Sara Pellicer, who will share her experience as Digital Project Manager; a profession that, in her words, changed her life and provided her with the tools to forge her professional future. Together with Pellicer, Nacho Lapuente will present his talk "Welcome to artificial intelligence", introducing people to a concept that, today, has a prominent place in current production processes. In parallel, Manuel Lemos will share part of his experience as vice president of the National Association of Big Data and Analytics (ANBAN), emphasizing the work of this organization in the support and implementation of new technologies in institutions and companies that seek to modernize their processes. to face a digital ecosystem that requires more advanced infrastructure and more efficient software.
To bring together all these points of view and centralize the conclusions of this computer science congress, the director of the MasterD School of Computer Science and Communications, Germán Escalante, will highlight the importance of new technologies in the work field, taking into account that, in the current context, telecommunications and technological transformation are the key to the modernization of the productive sector. Within the framework of the congress, the director will also present the Gala Foundation's Educational Excellence Award, which, for the second consecutive year, grants MasterD recognition as the best educational center for digital transformation and innovation.
