DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Jan. 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Rory McIlroy began his quest for glory at the 35th Hero Dubai Desert Classic with a stunning performance atop the iconic Atlantis The Royal, Dubai. The defending champion is seeking his coveted fourth Dallah Trophy with the Rolex Series event starting at the Emirates Golf Club on Thursday.

In true Rory fashion, McIlroy produced a spectacular hole-in-one scene to celebrate the start of the tournament and the region's oldest golf event. McIlroy, champion of the Majlis course in 2009, 2015 and 2023, aims to etch his name in history as the first four-time champion of the illustrious event.
