WILMINGTON, Mass., Dec. 21, 2023/PRNewswire/ -- Locus Robotics, the market leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for fulfillment warehouses, today released its annual Cyber Week summary announcing a record 331 million units selected globally on behalf of its retail and third-party logistics partners, an increase of 66% over last year. LocusBots collected almost 7 million units daily on average, an increase of 107% compared to 2022.

According to data from Adobe Analytics, shoppers spent more than $38 billion in total global online sales from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday was the biggest online shopping day in history, with $12.4 billion in sales, an increase of 9.6%. Mobile shopping continues its upward trajectory and will account for 54% of all online orders in 2023, an increase of 10.4% from 2022.
Locus has already picked more than 2.5 billion units worldwide, and the last million picks took just 26 days, compared to the first million, which took more than 1,500 days.
