He pointed out that in the 5.5G era, new ultra-wideband applications will emerge one after another, such as glasses-free 3D, whole-home intelligence, ultra-HD video conferencing and computing services. As a result, services such as home broadband, mobile broadband, business campus and business private line will need to be upgraded to 10Gbps. In turn, this will present new business opportunities for operators. By supporting ubiquitous 10Gbps connections, ultra-wideband elastic transport, and autonomous network self-optimization, Net5.5G will drive new business growth for operators.
With the upgrade of home and mobile broadband to 10 Gbps, the IP transport network will evolve into a 400 GE converged metropolitan network and backbone network. Operators can upgrade their IP transport networks to support high concurrency of massive 10 Gbps services and use new capabilities, such as network slicing, to ensure service experience and improve user satisfaction.
Digital transformation also drives the improvement of the quality of enterprise campus networks. By leveraging new capabilities like Wi-Fi 7 high-density access, video experience assurance, and cloud-based management, operators can add enterprise campus networks on top of private lines. In this way, they can provide comprehensive services, enabling high-quality 10Gbps wireless connections, video services, and O&M service experiences to be delivered to enterprise customers, thereby accelerating the growth of B2B services.
